ロシア軍はウクライナへの攻撃を激化させており、10月8日には前線近くの町で、バスが破壊された。

30人が死亡、18人が負傷

ウクライナ東部、ドネツク州の都市、クラマトルスクでは8日、ロシア軍によるミサイル攻撃でバスが標的にされ、少なくとも30人が死亡したという。

ドネツク州の検察庁は10月8日、午前10時（現地時間）にバスがミサイル攻撃を受けたと発表。「現時点で、今朝の攻撃による死者は30人に達した。18人が負傷した」と述べ、地元の公共交通機関がすべて運休になったと明らかにした。

警察が公開した画像には、瓦礫が散乱する通りに遺体が横たわっている様子や、焼け焦げたバスの残骸が写っていた。しかも、もう1台のバスも炎上したという。

Doctors are now fighting to save the lives of people injured in the Russian strike on Kramatorsk. As of now, 30 people have been confirmed killed, and sadly, that number may rise. The Russian bomb effectively hit two city minibuses. Some of those killed have still not been identified because of the severity of their injuries. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another 18 people were injured in the strike. Residential buildings and cars were also damaged.

This strike will not go unanswered. Russia is trying to destroy all life in Donbas, and a response from the world is a must. A forceful response – exactly as the Russians deserve for all the deaths they have brought. May all those killed rest in peace.

またクラマトルスク郊外のBilenke村でも、ロシア軍の砲撃により3人が死亡した。

犠牲者が増える可能性

ウクライナのゼレンスキー大統領は、ロシア軍が「ごく普通の公共交通機関の停留所」を意図的に標的にしたとし、負傷の程度が重く、身元が特定できない犠牲者もいると明らかにした。

またゼレンスキー大統領は、医師たちが負傷者の救命に尽力しているが、犠牲者の数が「残念ながら増える可能性がある」との見方を示した。

10月7日には、ウクライナ北部チェルニーヒウ州の町、Prylukyにある5階建てのアパートがロシア軍の攻撃を受け、中にいた人々が生き埋めになった。

この攻撃での犠牲者も増えており、現時点で少なくとも22人が死亡し、その中には1歳から8歳までの子供5人が含まれていたという。

Today, together with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, we paid tribute to those who were killed in the Russian missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky. The attack claimed 22 lives, including five children. Another 54 people were injured.

I spoke with those affected. We also received reports on the consequences of the attack. More than 100 residential buildings were damaged, as were educational institutions, kindergartens, shops, businesses, and the infrastructure that sustains normal life in the city.

We hear the people – there are issues with shelters and housing in the city. I instructed the head of the regional military administration to promptly help those who, unfortunately, have nowhere to go. And it is important that those affected ultimately receive new homes. Also, as soon as the security situation allows, residents of the destroyed building must be given access to their damaged apartments. The Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine must see to it.

I am grateful to Ed Miliband for coming today to support our people. When our partners are literally standing alongside Ukrainians, it truly matters. Thank you to everyone helping our people on the ground.

イギリスのエド・ミリバンド外相とともに現場を視察したゼレンスキー大統領は、ウクライナがロシア国内のミサイル発射基地などの標的を攻撃できるよう、アメリカに対しスターリンク衛星インターネットのサービスエリアの拡大を要請した。

しかしアメリカのトランプ大統領とイーロン・マスク氏は、これまでのところウクライナ側の要請を拒否している。（了）
