アメリカで、なぜか前足で歩くアライグマのユニークな姿が撮影された。

その様子が撮影されたのは3月25日、場所はコロラド州の町、コロラドスプリングスにある民家の敷地内とされている。

防犯カメラが撮影した映像には、アライグマが突然、前足だけを使い、逆立ちをするような姿勢で歩き始めたという。

「X」ユーザーの「@CameraTrapSue」さんは、その動画を3月26日に投稿。現在までに、155万回以上も再生されている。

Here’s the handstand raccoon from the water bowl camera.

過去15年間で撮影できたのは2回のみ

「@CameraTrapSue」さんによれば、アライグマがこのように前足で歩いたのは初めてではなく、2023年の6月にも同様の姿勢で歩いたという。その動画がこちら。

ただし、これまで防犯カメラで15年に渡って撮影してきたものの、アライグマが逆立ちで歩く行動を記録できたのは、今回も含めて2回しかないそうだ。

動画を見た人からは、「なぜ逆立ちして歩くのか？」との質問が寄せられたが、「@CameraTrapSue」さんにも、正確な理由は分からないという。

別のユーザーは「片方の足を怪我しているように思えるけど、そう見えるのは私だけ？」と尋ねているが、「@CameraTrapSue」さんは「確かにその可能性もありますが、他の動画では元気よく、庭を歩いていました」と返信している。（了）
